The Harley Binocular Microscope by C. Collins, London, c. 1883, of lacquered brass, base marked C. Collins Optician 77 G Titchfield St., London , double nosepiece, two unmarked objectives, rackwork coarse focusing, fine focus between tube and limb, 3 1/4-in. square stage, X and Y adjustments, Webster condenser, and plano/concave mirror on swing arm, in mahogany case with additional objective, diaphragm, and accessories. Stage area has substanial lacquer loss and tarnishing, remainder has some losss consistant with age.
