Two Bausch & Lomb Brass Microscopes, Rochester, New York, c. 1920, no. 56715, with rack and pinion coarse focus on body, micrometer fine focus on pillar, triple nosepiece with marked objectives, substage condenser, plano/concave mirror, in a cherry box with another eyepiece; and no. 86845, with rack and pinion focus on body, micrometer focus on pillar, double nosepiece, substage iris diaphragm, and a plano/concave mirror on a swing arm. No. 56715 has lacquer loss on stage and at top of tube, one slide clip missing. No. 86845 has missing slide clips and substage iris diaphragm is broken some spotting of lacquer.
