Cased Brass Gould-type Microscope and Compendium, London, mid-19th century, with flat-folding tripod base marked Tuther , 221 Holborn , London , circular pillar with compass joint supporting square arm with conical body, stage, and concave mirror, all in a wooden box with additional objectives, bull's-eye condenser, stage mounted forceps, and live box. Some lacquer losses. the fitted box is a 20th century reproduction.
