W. & L.E. Gurley Lacquered Brass Surveyor's Transit, Troy, New York, 10-in. telescope with fine rack focusing, bubble level, 4 1/2-in. silvered vertical circle with vernier, "A" frame attached to a horizontal circle with encased silvered scale, vernier, compass marked as above with outer ring calibrated in four quadrants, all on four adjustable screw feet, fitted wooden carrying box, and an adjustable wooden tripod with brass fittings. Optics questionable with marks and stains.
