Yellow Enameled Globular Vase and a Yaozhou-type Box and Cover, China, 20th century, the round-body vase incised with a central band of boys in play, between a band of lotus scrolls above the base and the upright leaf tips around the neck, the exterior covered with light yellow glaze, ht. 9 1/2; the box carved on the top with a peony spray enclosed by short radiating line border, covered overall in a pale olive green glaze except for the mouth rims and the medallion on the base burnt orange in the firing, ht. 2, dia. 5 in.
