John Marin (American, 1870-1953) Sailboat, 1932, edition of about 200 (Zigrosser, 155). Signed and dated within the plate. Etching on wove paper, plate size 6 7/8 x 9 1/4 in. (17.5 x 23.4 cm), framed. Condition: Deckled edges to three sides, affixed to mat along upper and left edges with sticker/label "hinges," minor creases to impression (perhaps printing flaws). The sheet measures 11 1/2 x 15 3/4 inches, and has no stamp from American Artist's Group on the verso.
