Color aquatint on paper, plate size 8 5/8 x 23 1/4 in. (21.8 x 58.8 cm), framed. Condition: Margins over 4 inches with deckled edges, gentle rippling, not examined out of frame. Provenance: Estate of an arts benefactor, New York. Sheet size is 20 1/2 x 31 3/4 in. (52.0 c 80.6 cm). Toning to sheet, rippling and minor staining to u.l. corner. Annotations to reverse, including title "Soleil Noyé II" and other numerical inventory notations.
