Signed "max ernst" in pencil l.r., numbered "22/100" in pencil l.l. Color etching with aquatint on paper, plate size 13 1/4 x 10 1/2 in. (33.5 x 26.5 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, breaks to paper along plate mark, not examined out of frame. Provenance: Estate of an arts benefactor, New York. The visible sheet size is 15 x 12 in. The sheet is toned, and has breaks along the plate mark, primarily along the left side. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no additional visible issues to report.
