Naum Gabo (British/Russian, 1890-1977) Opus Four (The Lyrebird), 1950, edition of over 32 (Williams, p. 56). Signed "Gabo" in pencil (twice) l.r., inscribed "N4 op.4" in pencil l.l., inscribed in lower margin. Woodcut in brown on paper, image size 6 1/4 x 5 3/8 in. (15.8 x 13.5 cm), framed. Condition: Mat burn, foxing, toning, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame, the sheet is a thin tissue measuring 10 7/8 x 7 3/4 inches. There is masking tape to the upper edge.
