Miguel Covarrubias (Mexican, 1904-1957) The Lindy Hop, 1936, published by American Artists Group. Unsigned, stamped on the reverse. Lithograph on paper, image size 13 x 9 7/8 in. (33.0 x 25.0 cm), framed. Condition: Margins over 1 1/2 inches with a deckled left edge, subtle toning, surface deformation beneath image, tape residue to upper corners (primarily to the reverse), narrow stickers spaced along edges on the reverse. The sheet measures 17 7/8 x 13 in. The tape residue has left dark stains, and these are just visible from the face. There are three 3/4 inch stickers, one to each edge except the left. The deformation is an indentation into the sheet about 3 mm long just below the ends of the floor boards.
