Hans Hofmann (German/American, 1880-1966) Untitled Unsigned, estate stamp on the backing, identified on a label from Ameringer Yohe Fine Art, New York, and with a label from Berta Walker Gallery, Provincetown, Massachusetts, affixed to the backing. India ink on paper, 8 3/8 x 10 7/8 in. (21.3 x 27.6 cm), framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. N.B. The work is #M-0933/296 with The Estate of Hans Hofmann. Drawing marked with inventory number "M933/296" in pencil on the reverse in the u.r. corner. Hinged with rice paper hinges to back mat in two places along the top edge, gentle rippling. Drawing is floated within the window mat.
