Harold Eugene Edgerton (American, 1903-1990) The Flip. Signed "HAROLD EDGERTON" in pencil on the reverse. Gelatin silver print, image size 17 5/8 x 13 7/8 in. (44.6 x 35.3 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Minor surface rubs (primarily to the middle third of the composition), subtle rippling. The work is unmounted. The rubs and abrasions are small (most 1/4 inch or less) but are visible, many even without raking light.
