Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987) Lincoln Center Ticket, 1967, edition of 500 (Feldman & Schellmann, II. 19). Unsigned, identified within the matrix, tag from the Atlantic Richfield Company Art Collection affixed to frame. Color screenprint on paper, sight size 44 x 23 3/8 in. (111.8 x 59.4 cm), framed. Condition: Gentle rippling, minute creases within image, not examined out of frame. Atlantic Richfield Company Art Collection metal i.d. tag is incised with the following number: V014.004.C Print is floated against supporting mat, attached to the backing in at least four places, including two upper corners and at least one spot along each side. Subtle rippling along the side edges. Scattered small handling creases with some loss of pigment, including an area measuring a total of 1 1/2 in. long on the left edge beside the word "HILO," a small area to the left of the word "IOBE," and an area measuring 1 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches on the right edge, about 19 inches up from the lower right corner. The largest crease is approximately 1 1/4 inches long. There are two small stray ink marks u.r. corner. There is very slight toning or soiling to the edge of the white triangle located on the lower right side. Do to the nature of the mounting, this work was not examined out of the frame.
