Stow Wengenroth (American, 1906-1978) Lower Fifth Avenue, 1959, printer's proof outside of the edition of 40 (Stuckey, 256). Signed "Stow Wengenroth" in pencil l.r., inscribed "Printer's proof-" in pencil l.l. Lithograph on paper, image size 10 1/8 x 15 7/8 in. (25.7 x 40.2 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 1/4 inches or more with deckled edges to three sides, pale mat and light staining, annotation to lower margin, gentle rippling. The sheet measures 13 1/8 x 18 1/2 inches with all but the lower edge deckled. The staining is minor.
