Grant Wood (American, 1891-1942) March, 1939, edition of 250, published by Associated American Artists, New York (Czestochowski/catrais. org, Wood 18; Cole, 14). Signed "Grant Wood" in pencil l.r., identified on a label from AAA on the backing. Lithograph on paper, image size 8 7/8 x 11 1/2 in. (22.5 x 28.0 cm), framed. Condition: Several fox marks, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the sheet measures 12 1/2 x 16 in. with deckled edges, and is hinged at the upper corners. There are several fox marks to the image; more to the reverse of the sheet. Mat toning is visible to the verso.
