Aldro Thompson Hibbard (American, 1886-1972) Morning, South Woods Signed "A. T. Hibbard" l.r., identified on a title affixed to the reverse. Oil on canvas, 18 x 23 3/4 in. (45.7 x 60.3 cm), framed. Condition: Mounted to paperboard, surface grime. There are subtle surface rubs, mostly from the edge of the frame, plus a nearly vertical one among the sapplings to the left. The painting would benefit from cleaning.
