Paul Starrett Sample (American, 1896-1974) The Trophy Signed "Paul Sample" l. r., identified on a label from the Galleries of Associated American Artists, New York, affixed to the backing. Watercolor on paper, sheet size 20 1/8 x 15 5/8 in. (51.0 x 39.6 cm), framed. Condition: Foxing, toning, paper tape remnants in corners. Graph paper labels and graphite hatch marks at center of each margin. Tack holes in margins c.l. and c.r. Sheet with deckle edge right side, hinged to window mat with brown paper tape center top of the reverse.
