Edith Barretto Parsons (American, 1878-1956) Pair of Bookends Featuring Terriers: Standing Alert and Where's My Tail? Both signed "E.B. PARSONS ©" on the bases, stamped "GORHAM CO FOUNDERS/QFBI" and "GORHAM CO FOUNDERS/QFGD," respectively. Bronze, Standing ht. 5 1/4 in., Tail ht. 4 1/4 in., bases approximately 2 1/4 x 7 x 1 in. Condition: Scattered minor scratches and wear, dirt and areas of oxidation in the interstices. Bases of each are filled with cement, no additional condition issues to report.
