Edward Barnard Lintott (American, 1875-1951) Salpiglossis Signed "Lintott" l. l., identified on a presentation plaque, titled, dated, and signed "...Painted 1934..." on a label affixed to the reverse, stamped "E.B. LINTOTT" in red on the reverse, titled in pencil and stamped "E. B. LINTOTT" in red on the stretcher, and with a partial label from the Lawrence Rill Schumann Art Foundation, Boston, affixed to the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 24 x 19 7/8 in. (61.0 x 50.5 cm), framed. Condition: Varnish inconsistencies.
