Condition: Small seam or repair to canvas l.r. edge. N.B. Terri Priest is known for her play on art historical themes, borrowing, combining, and reinventing iconic images. In this example, the artist drew upon Johannes Vermeer's A Young Woman Standing at a Virginal and Vija Celmins' mezzotint Strata . The Vermeer painting is in the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Small seam or repair to canvas l.r. edge measuring approx. 1/2 in. wide.
