John Taylor Arms (American, 1887-1953) La Chiesa, Borgio, 1926, edition of 106 plus proofs (Fletcher, 178). Signed and dated "John Taylor Arms-1926" in pencil l.r., signed and dated within the plate. Etching on paper, plate size 6 1/8 x 4 3/8 in. (15.5 x 11.3 cm), framed. Condition: Foxing, pale mat burn, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the sheet measures 9 1/4 x 7 1/4 in. It is a laid paper with all but the right edge deckled. There is mat burn plus minor soiling and foxing to the margins, and a stain along the upper edge.
