Lacquered Box with Six Archer's Rings, China, 19th century, the prunus flower-shaped cover finely carved with a peach, Buddhist hand citron, and lotus sprays in planters, with peony and scroll border, enclosing three gray-white jade, one lapis lazuli, one jadeite, and one lavender and gray jade archer's rings, Qianlong mark to the base, dia. of box 5 3/4, ring dia. to 1 3/8 in. size 22 - 23. Rings are 19th century. untested for color
