Italian, 20th/21st century. Sevres style gilt metal, porcelain and art glass figural 16 light chandelier with double vasiform body in cobalt and white porcelain ground with parcel gilt highlights, the upper section with five demi-cherubs, each holding a flowering vine, the lower section with colorful floral bouquets on white ground over a pierced gilt metal mounted circulet issuing four gilt metal clusters of four scrolling and foliate arms, each with Lalique style satin glass molded floral candlecups, the base tapering with alternating panels of cobalt and floral decoration on white ground further mounted with pierced gilt metal decorative band and terminating in a spire finial. Chandelier is marked in blue underglaze "comtise hand made Italy'. Approximate height 50", width 52" (arm to arm).
