Scarce lifetime impression by an acknowledged French master artist depicting two figures walking on a street in Rouen, France with many tall homes and structures to background and billowy clouds in sky above. Framed approximately 19.875" x 16.75". Sight size approximately 11" x 8". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Benno & Babette Rothschild, Columbus, Georgia. Reference: Delteil 175. Note: this work exists in only one state with 15 prints being created, the last 6 of which were made after the artist's death and were therefore unsigned.
