Jade Book, China, consisting of eight inscribed jade leaves, each of rectangular form, the front and back cover incised and gilt-decorated on one side with a pair of sinuous dragons contending a flaming pearl amidst billowy clouds, the back incised and gilt-decorated with inscriptions with Qianlong seal, and "Shu Annan Shi Mo Shi Ji" (Writing to Record the Event of Annan) as the title to the front, the other six leaves incised and gilded with characters to both sides, the stone of spinach green color, 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 in.
