Frank Weston Benson (American, 1862-1951) Rising Geese, 1924, published state, edition of 150 (Paff, 238). Signed "FrankWBenson." in pencil l.l. Drypoint on paper, plate size 6 3/4 x 8 3/4 in. (17.2 x 22.1 cm), framed. Condition: Several fox marks, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the sheet measures 9 x 11 3/8 in. It is a laid paper with an "ENGLAND" watermark. There is subtle toning. There are also some scattered fox marks, the largest being just above the plate mark.
