Pair of Antique Lava Cameo Plaque Brooches, each depicting a double cameo of Classical and Renaissance figures, with elaborate mask, scroll, and floral motifs, gold frames, 2 3/8 x 1 3/8 in. Beautifully made. Lava with overall minor wear with age, otherwise without issues. Mountings curved and with later pinstems, one with evidence of prior findings. Possibly from a collar.
