Pair of Chinese Silver-plate Crane-form Candlesticks, 19th century, inlaid with mother-of-pearl, jade, turquoise, and coral, each crane standing on a gnarled branch with flowering tendrils, and holding a flowering vine ending in a sconce in its beak, on shaped wood stands, ht. to 19 1/2 in. Loss to silver plate and minor loss to turquoise and coral, some small chips to mother-of-pearl, one with loss to base, one removed from base, one attached to base.
