Clarice Cliff Gibraltar Pattern Bowl, Blue Ribbon Pattern Plate, and Rodanthe Pattern Vase Art Deco pottery Staffordshire, England, c. 1931, 1932, 1934 A wide shallow bowl with white sailing vessels on a sea before the Rock of Gibraltar, with multicolored concentric circle interior, black Newport Pottery backstamp, interior glaze losses, ht. 3 1/2, dia. 9 3/4; a dinner plate with freehand floral design with orange flowers against a background of yellow, green, and blue ribbons, rim chip minor glaze flakes, dia. 10 1/8; and a shallow diamond-shaped flower vase with open center painted in the Rodanthe pattern with freehand marigold-like flowers pink, yellow, green, and gray, black Wilkinson Ltd. back stamp, ht. 1 3/4, 14 1/2 x 10 in. The plate has a 1/2 in. rim chip, mostly to the underside of the rim, and several tiny flecks of glaze loss.
