Six Enameled Canton Dishes, late 18th/early 19th century, two each: circular scalloped dish with single handle, dia. 8 1/2, square scalloped dish with two handles, lg. 9 3/4, and circular dish, dia. 8 in., each with a scene of a woman kneeling before a magistrate within a border of birds, butterflies, and flowers. Provenance: Purportedly purchased at Christie's sale of the Jack Warner Estate, October 12, 1990. All with chips and cracks to enamel, one circular scalloped dish with all-over yellow discoloration, one circular dish with 2 in. loss to enamel on outer rim.
