Rookwood Pottery Vellum Vase Decorated pottery Cincinnati, Ohio, 1905 Tapered elongated oval form with inverted neck, the sides decorated with iris in matte glaze primarily in shades of blue, green, and cream, the base with impressed maker's mark, date, v for vellum, and 946, indistinct circular decorator's mark and incised X, ht. 12 1/4 in. Some small glaze bubble burstes on the flower blossom. Glaze dirty in spots.
