Pair of Christopher Dresser for Minton Porcelain Pseudo-Cloisonne Quintal Vases, England, second half 19th century, based on the Dutch tulipière form, with turquoise ground enamel decorated with white and yellow flowers and geometric designs, supported by dolphin masks, on a shaped base, ht. 6 3/8 in. Both with hairline cracks to bases, one with hairline crack around bottom of fan base and up over the head of one dolphin mask, with a second crack extending across the body. Both with crazing and age typical loss to enamel and gilt.
