Pair of Chinoiserie Gilt-bronze and Dresden Porcelain Two-light Candelabra, 19th century, each with a polychrome enameled and gilded Malabar musician figure after F. E. Meyer, both exotically dressed, the man playing a guitar, the woman a hurdy-gurdy, both appear to have crossed swords-type mark, the woman's is partially obscured by the bronze mounting, cast as two foliate-form arms and sconces emerging from a shaped openwork base with a rocky surface and scrolling foliage, ht. to 8 3/8 in. Woman with loss to several leaves around her figure, and with firing line to hat. Man with losses to tuning pegs of guitar. Dresden crossed-swords-type mark.
