Pair of Escalier de Cristal Gilt-bronze and Cut Glass Vases with Elephants, France, 19th century, each flared glass vase depicting a landscape with waterfowl to all four sides and mounted to sit within a reticulated casket atop a bejeweled elephant, standing on a flared and reticulated rectangular base, bases signed "Escalier de Cristal Paris," ht. 15 1/4 in. Each with light scratches to inside of vase and scattered scratches, unobtrusive small areas of abrasion, and corrosion to gilt bronze.
