Japanese Lacquer and Metal-mounted Dressing Table Cabinet, late 19th/early 20th century, the rectangular cabinet with black ground, fitted with engraved metal corner mounts, the front with copper speckled maki-e ground, and decorated with peacocks and sea creatures, with two small cabinet doors opening to six interior shelves decorated with cranes, over two short and one long drawer, ht. 15, wd. 14 1/4, dp. 7 1/4, set atop a later mahogany stand, ht. with stand 21 in. Allover minor age typical wear.
