Dresden Porcelain Chinoiserie Decorated and Pewter-mounted Stein, late 18th century, with indistinct underglaze blue crossed swords or arrow mark, cylindrical, painted with a scene of Chinese men enjoying an alfresco meal under a palm tree, flanked by Kakiemon-style flower stems, the pewter lid with reeded ball thumbpiece, ht. 7 3/4 in. No cracks, chips, or repairs. Age typical loss to enamel and gilt. Some areas of darkening to the ground on handle.
