Vienna Porcelain Urn on Stand, Austria, late 19th century, mounted as a lamp base, with iridescent maroon ground, the tapered ovoid body with domed lid, Bacchus mask handles, and raised gilt decoration, painted to front with a large roundel scene depicting the classical maidens of the arts, indistinctly signed l. r., on trumpet foot with square base, set atop a later metal plinth, with square porcelain stand with further gilt decoration, body ht. without plinth 20, stand ht. 4 1/2 in. finial from lid broken off, but present. body drilled and mounted as a lamp, with metal plinth adhered to foot of porcelain. very minor gilt wear to body, cleaning wear to gilding of foot.
