Empire Mahogany Veneer and Parcel-gilt Pier Mirror, 19th century, the austere pediment and cornice over a rectangular beveled mirror flanked by two ball-topped Corinthian columns on pedestals, ht. 64, wd. 30 1/2 in. Base of the gilded columns with touch-ups in gold paint throughout with significant over paint to left base. Gilded capitals with some minor touchups but much of it is intact. Small veneer chips along lower edge and scattered minor defects throughout.
