Pair of Giltwood and Marble Console Tables, each with serpentine marble top above openwork carved frieze with central cartouche, acanthus leaves, laurel garlands, and winged paterae, on scrolled cabriole legs with ornamental stretcher, approx. ht. 35, wd. 29 1/4, dp. 15 in. They tables were probably made around 1920. The surface has been completely over painted in gold. One with piece broken off of the stretcher and there are age typical minor defects throughout both tables.
