Boxed Set of Twelve Ivory-handled Fruit Knives, late 18th century, with slender steel blades, the handles overlaid with filets of ivory accented with thin filets of gold/gilt-metal, with gold/gilt-metal terminals, lg. 8 in., in fitted tooled calf case. two terminal caps replaced, and one missing. some losses and lifting to the gilt metal/gold filets. age darkening to blades, age wear to base, including warping to lid, scuffs, and one latch hook missing. Overall age wear.
