Brass-inlaid Sofa Table, 19th century, of typical form, with the rectangular top flanked by two D-shaped leaves, with two frieze drawers to one side and two sham drawers to the other, on downswept legs ending in brass casters, ht. 27 3/4, wd. 36 1/2, dp. 25 1/2 in. sunfading to top and side with sham drawer fronts. top with four shrinkage cracks, and a black stain near one leaf. lifting to brass trim and corner of one leaf, and significant lifting of brass to the other leaf. veneer popping at legs. legs with support braces to undersides. slighly wobbly. minor lifting to brass at legs.
