Martin Brothers Glazed Stoneware "Eskimo" Jug, dated July 14th, 1903 to cover and base, the tall figure shrouded in a fur wrap and with shaped cover, ear handle, ht. 14 1/4 in. Note: For a similar example, see Haslam, Malcolm, The Martin Brothers Potters , London, 1978, page 92, figure 130. Very good condition throughout with no cracks, chips or restorations.
