American Classical Miniature Stencil-decorated and Yellow Ground Side Chair, mid 19th century, slightly bowed rectangular cresting above spindles, plank seat and circular splayed legs, decorated with brown and green foliage and banding, seat ht. 7 1/2 in. Seat with moderately heavy losses to front left corner, both left and right edges and through the center; some gold paint touch-ups to cresting; front stretcher with heavy paint losses.
