Morgan, Spring City, PA", with horizontal demilune mount set to sides with similar metal plates cast with "Saddle for Dubbing, Game Fowls," and suspending a pair of carved wattles, lg. 21 1/4, wd. 6 3/8 in. Note: Dubbing is the trimming or amputation of a gamecock's comb or wattle. the wattles constructed in three parts, with the edge of one part showing a small area of plaster fill approx. 3/4". scuffs and scratching throughout. finish wear. metal plates covered with a lacquered finish which has yellowed. Where around the three hanging holes at top of backplate.
