Doulton Lambeth Carrara Ware Mantel Vase, c. 1890, painted by Ada Dennis and assisted by Josephine Durtnall, decorated with a young girl by the seaside, the ground decorated with floral garlands, tied ribbons, and scrolling vines, ht. 6 3/4 in. Note: See Richard Dennis: Doulton Ware Lambeth Art Pottery, Part II, 1975 , no. 186. Very slight glaze roughness to lip; else very good throughout with no cracks, chips or restorations.
