Doulton Lambeth Blue Salt-glaze and Silver-mounted Stoneware Jug, c. 1902-19011, by Frank A. Butler, silver marked for Sheffield, 1871, with silver collar, ear handle and globular body decorated with incised leaftips in tones of blue and brown, with large applied beading and rosettes, Royal Doulton mark with incised and stamped numbers, ht. 8 1/2 in. Odd combination of earlier silver and later pottery, possibly formerly a flagon with hole in top of handle.
