" Inscribed by the artist "painted by Henry Walton" l.c., the subject identified in Henry Walton's distinctive lettering on the reverse. Watercolor on paper, showing a three-quarter view of Cornelius wearing a dark green jacket and trousers, a black vest and stock, and seated in a Windsor chair, 8 3/4 x 6 1/4 in., in a molded tiger maple frame. Condition: Good, minor toning.
