Attributed to Sheldon Peck (American, 1797-1868) Portrait of a Gentleman with Blue Eyes. Unsigned. Oil on canvas, c. 1845, 18 x 14 1/4 in., in a period mitered wood frame. Condition: Relined, retouch. The portrait has been relined, has a new stretcher, several areas of retouch including several horizontal lines across canvas, a few spots on the gentleman's forehead, cheeks, and chin, many lines through jacket.
