Norton, Bennington, Vermont, Gardiner Stoneware Manufactory, Gardiner, Maine, Albany Stoneware, probably Albany, New York, F. Woodworth, Burlington, Vermont, and George L. Risley, Norwich, Connecticut, 10 x 6 3/4 -16 x 8 1/2 in. Gardiner: 4 creases where the form was folded, very minor toning; Albany: losses at upper left, minor foxing; Norton: minor acid burn at edges and scattered spots, 8 or 9 horizontal and 2 vertical creases with 1/2 inch tear at edge of one crease; Risley: staining to upper right corner, two horizontal creases, minor spots of foxing; Woodworth: 5 horizontal creases, very small losses at left edge near creases, toned overall; all with ink and/or pencil notations; none laid down, though some possibly attached with glue spots at corners.
