Chinese, 19th century. Large Chinese Famille Rose bowl with orange palm motif on exterior of bowl on white ground. Interior features a courtly scene with one figure and a baby atop a horse and a second figure holding a shade above them, in a garden scene, and prunus fruit and butterfly decoration on circular tondo sides with foliate and fruit decorations along the upper rim of the bowl, and orange & gilt borders at the apparent segments. Unmarked. Height 3.75", diameter of top 11.5".
